14. What your life was like ten years ago
Um... Ermergerd I was thinking I'd be writing about school and college here but I'd actually already left ten years ago! Okay, now I feel old. Right, exactly ten years ago I'd have been working at GSF for a few months, and enjoying having a full-time job and being a grown up... Looking at my diary entries from then haha - I still lived at home, didn't drive, smoked '68million' fags, driving around the Forest with Steve a lot, going to town to spend my wages, going to London for awesome gigs... I was obsessed with Tool, and metal, and Muse (that year they played Reading, I went with Timur and Kev, and it's always the first thing I think of when I think '2002'!)... I stayed up till the early hours on the internet, made websites, we still had our old band Symbiosis and we did some gigs, then we did Brother Earth later that year (our epic metal band in which I sang and played bass)... We went to the Dungeon, Nexus and the Bosun's Locker a lot and played pool and spent more money on the juke box than on booze... that was a great pub. We played a lot of war games in the Forest. That was hilarious.

15. How much alcohol you drink
I can definitely take it or leave it. I've never been one to say 'I fancy a beer' or have booze in the fridge at home... for me drinking is just part of going out and being sociable, but I can go out and be sociable without the booze. I'm one of those annoying people who stands at the front of the queue at the bar and goes, 'Oh yeah, booze. Now what shall I have...?' I can totally get going when the mood takes me though, haha. I do like being drunk. I don't seem to need to drink that much to get drunk these days... So... the question! I... probably have about 4-5 pints of beer in one binge. I've been having shots lately though because of The Diet. 6 rum & diet cokes should be enough.

16. Your worst illness
Ummm... Probably the asthma, I got hospitalised for it once when I was really young, and went to A&E with it a couple of times as a teenager and once or twice as a grown-up. I've always just had 'ailments' as opposed to serious illnesses. I've had the usual bugs and viruses, and could list a few occasions where I've felt like proper death, but nothing really bad.

17. What you do at work
Drive, mostly. Pick up dogs, clean houses, clean pubs, bash my elbows on sharp corners, stub my toes on Hoovers, hang out with dogs, take dogs home, queue up at the bank, panic about money, might go and help out with some ballet teaching... Tomorrow, though, I'm doing a day at GSF where I used to work. Haha. Oh and gigs with the band, that's kind of work. So yeah, all sorts o' stuff.

18. A question or comment people should never make to you
I'm not easily offended, but I will take it personally and get angry if anyone makes any comment slagging off someone for having wonky eyes. Calling someone ugly for any reason, really, can make me get a bit uppity. And they can't backtrack out of it by then saying, 'I'm allowed to slag her off because she's a bitch.' No. Carry on digging that hole. Actually, if I'm 'on one', any random comment that shows they don't think genders are equal, or that they believe you're more valuable than someone else because of their background, education or job or are a supporter of any form of discrimination at all really... I can get pissed off, but you know... I like to think people can talk freely to me... Haha. I've had debates with mates over things in the pub but I don't really get angry in real life. People I talk to on the internet probably know that I can get pretty angry from my occasional massive ranty essays!

19. The style of clothing you feel most comfortable in
Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. Nah, anything goes really, as long as I don't have my butt on display. Or the tops of the backs of my legs, so no short shorts or dresses with bare legs. I'd be thinking about it the whole time. Leggings have to have a dress over them. I used to have this thing where I've had to have something covering my arse if it was tightly clad in any way. Pencil skirts were out of the question - they had to be flowy/sticky-outy. In jeans or trousers I had to have a skirt on top or a jumper round my waist. And I could never wear tight tops. Couldn't show off my womanly shape, oh no! Now I'm perfectly comfortable in more figure-hugging things, but I'm favouring longer tops at the moment because I've got junk in the trunk. I don't suit girly clothes; dainty dresses and pretty sandals and stuff aren't really me. If I do buy something that's really pretty and girly, which I sometimes do if there's something I just like for no reason, I have to balance it with super UBERMETALHAMMERGEIL! Like, I'll wear a cutesy blouse with cats and flowers and candyfloss and rainbows on it, with massive baggy combats and army boots. I have quite broad shoulders and good legs (when I'm in shape), so I think my actual ideal 'style' is tight jeans, long boots and long floaty shirts. OH YEAH. Can't wait to shift this weight and go SHOPPING. Size 8 shopping... *daydreams*

Damnit, I've been asleep all evening and am now wide awake. Today I went on a boat! It was my auntie Trudie's boyfriend's birthday, and they're moving away for a while, so they had this big ol' boat trip that went from Ocean Village up the Beaulieu river and back. Quite nice, had a ploughman's and a cream tea, and it was 30 degrees out today, so. And it brought back a lot of memories of driving Dad's boat up the river and waving at the yachties while badmouthing them under our breath... Absolutely splendid day for it, old bean.

We've looked at two now. Well, three, but the first two were in the same building and both as godawful as each other.

The one we saw today was much nicer, but it was right at the top of the house, and looked quite studenty. And it had furniture, which we don't need.

Hmmm...
It's been a hot weekend. On Friday, Anna and I went down the pub with Timur and Dave and that was cool, we just chatted about festivals and stuff. Ended up having a lock-in and me and Nikki were dancing around the back bar like pillocks.

Then Anna and I walked home with some cider and got chatting all night on the bench outside the shops. We went back to mine to sleep at about 5am and woke up at 2pm on Saturday. What a waste of a day! Then Steve came round and we got some chips and sat down the beach for a while, then went to the pub again. I went home quite early and watched Download highlights and System's London gig, which was shown on Channel 4. Bonus. ^_^

Daron. <3

On Sunday I stayed in the pub garden for most of the day. I'm making the most of it, says I, 'cause I'm gonna miss it when I move into town. Awww, pub.
Dave came down too and he had some serious beef with Dan, so we stayed there and drank coke all day. Then we went to the beach quickly to say hello to Mikey who was down there soaking up the rays.

I gave Dave a lift into town after that and popped into Anna's house for a drink. Then went home and chilled at mine. Yawn.

God, I had the dentist again this morning. £61. Damn it. But luckily it's all done now, and I don't have to go back for another 6 months. I had my root filling finished off and another filling done on the other side of my face, so I was numb all over. Now it's worn off my teeth have started aching, and I'm fucking starving now 'cause I can't eat owt, haha.

Damn it.

Come on, home time. I'm going to look at two more flats this evening.

w00t, Audioslave tomorrow. :)

'Tis Nikki's birthday today. 'Tis also Friday, so am happy. I got her a Cushtie. And some cook books and a light shade. ^_^
Right, I haven't written in here for ages, so this is what I've been up to:
1. I watched Red Dwarf and me and Leeps made some cheesy stop-motion animation, which was fun.
2. I helped Jeannie move all her stuff from her old room in Swaythling to Neil's house, only for her to move back to her mum's the next day. I hope they get their own place soon. O_o
3. Timur's having a party so I've been making a playlist on my laptop and looking at venues with him and Dave. He's chosen the Bosun's Locker, which has a cool little function room.
4. Been driving lots in the Forest as usual.
5. Put my new speakers in my car, but they sound shite. Fuck sake.
6. Been to the Nexus 3 or 4 times. 2 or 3 of those times were actually good. I miss the Dungeon though. I fell out with Dave one night 'cause I got a lift with Leeps and Shane one night and Dave thought I'd be going back with them and arranged to stay at a mate's in town. They were leaving at 12:30 though, so I was stitched up. So I got all upset and it was gay, and I ended up going home with T's sister Amy and her boyfriend. O_o Sketchy. And Dan was caught smoking by Tam and they had an argument... so that night sucked balls. But there y'go.
7. I had two days off sick with a cold and got addicted to The Sims 2. Ooops. I also watched the entire final series of Sex and the City.
8. When I was off ill I had a craving for some Weetos so I dragged myself to Tescos. I ate lots of Weetos and they've aggravated my wisdom tooth again. I've been in pain ever since. *cries*
9. I tried to get tickets to see Nine Inch Nails in London. Mikey and I went to the office at 9am on a Saturday and couldn't get through for shit. Tickets sold out in 10 minutes. Trent is rubbish.
10. I saw Team America. Funny as tits.
11. Been to the pub with Dave and Leeps a few times.
12. Saw Moral Low Ground again on Wednesday. They supporting DTX, who were banging, but there wasn't many people there. I got pulled over on the way home, 'cause one of my head light bulbs is out. I was also driving in my New Rocks for the first time, which was funny.
13. I got paid, but I've spent it all already. I bought this dress off the net:

14. Timur and Dave came round last night to finish off the playlist for his party. It was cool and chilled. :)
Anyway. Fucking Friday. Bring it. *gets back to work*

Went down Hythe with Nikki and Katy. Put some dry cleaning in and spent loads of money in Superdrug and got a free disposable camera! Surfed the net and tidied my room again, then went out with Timur, Tamsin and Jonny to see 24 Hour Party People, which was good fun.

25th April
Band practise was cancelled ‘cause the whole phone network round here went down and the people didn’t want to open the hall in case there was an accident. Fucking stupid. So we went to the pub, after driving around looking for Tamsin for ages! We went to the Happy Cheese and had some salad. I left my minidisc player in Timur’s car.

26th April
Tonight was boring. Dave and Steve came round and we just watched TV. Steve went home mega early (probably bored) and me and Dave had a real long natter. I’m going to Spain for a week with Nanny! I’ve paid for my tickets today! Yay, can’t wait!

Updaaate!

12th March
Hello diary of death! Today was wicked at work as usual. I got home and tried to phone Jezz about 8 times because he said he wanted to come to kung fu tonight. He wasn’t in so I asked his mum to tell him to call me. He came over at the last minute. Went to kung fu. Kung fu consists of Al, Jase, Bob, Steve, Leo, me and Jezz. Jase is the teacher. I’m the only girl, and I’m no good at the hands-on stuff. I told Steve I wanted to improve my stamina so he’s offered to come round every morning so we can do some work on it. He’s coming round at 7:30am tomorrow. Yawn…

13th March
We didn’t do any stretching this morning because Steve didn’t come round till 8am and that’s when I have to get ready. Oh well *yawn*. Work was boring today, nothing interesting happened. Nothing interesting enough to comment on anyway. Lots of shredding. Getting boring. I’m getting used to the phones though, which is cool. I met Dave and Timur at B&Q straight from work but I got a lift there so I had to wait for an hour, so I bought 2 money plants, one for me and one for Steve. They’re really cute little plants! We went round Timur’s house then, listened to Public Enemy and Cypress Hill and played some bass. Timur’s joined a new band called Squirt, haha. I’m knackered now, g’night.

14th March
Band practice was amazing! We have totally rewritten Sick. It rawks! Steve came along tonight. He’s got a brand new job! He starts on the 25th, which is my payday. Heehee! So we thought that was pretty wicked. I gave him his ickle plant too, he was well chuffed! After that we took Jezz’s stuff home and everyone came round here and we played around on the internet. I’m trying to get a page set up for us on mp3.com, but it’s quite hard when you haven’t got any mp3s. I didn’t do any kung fu this morning – Steve came round, but I was asleep and I didn’t hear him knocking!

15th March
KFC – Haha, like being back on the dole! Work was weird today - Mum took me in but she had to go to Cumbria with Frank (bleurgh). She was supposed to go this morning but they had another argument. He’s a knob. Anyway. So Dad picked me up tonight after I spent the whole day shredding (they tidied up the loft so there were loads of old files to shred. Steve and I actually did some stretching this morning! Not much though; we only had 15 minutes! Dave, Steve and I went to KFC, and went and munched in the forest. Steve bought a new video so we came home and watched it. It was a nice evening.

17th March
Chilled out Saturday – I did NOT leave the house! Today I chilled out. I finished 1984, had a long shower, surfed the net all afternoon until 10pm, watched a bit of telly until Dave and Anna came round. We had a cuppa and mucked around, talked random shite then they went home. No Steve tonight. I surfed the net a bit more and now I’m going to bed.

18th March
Boring day, apart from the evening when Steve, Dave and Al came round to watch The X-Files, which was piss-poor. After that everyone went home and I’m in bed now. TXF is shite these days. I didn’t even tape it to watch again afterwards, like I usually do.

19th March
Kung fu tonight was funny, Steve and I showed up and we waited for 68 years, and no-one showed up so we played skipping games and footy and I showed Steve some ballet, haha. We waited and waited and then we went to Al’s to see what was going on, and it wasn’t on at all tonight because everyone’s ill. So we got loads of choccy and came back here, and ate it all and talked for ages about food and stuff (random!) God knows what else.

20th March
Wages day! I got my payslip today! I wasn’t very impressed but it’s nice. I was gonna tidy my room tonight but I didn’t. When I got home Dad was talking about the rent I’ve got to pay him. We agreed on £100 a month – bargain! Heehee.
