Tails from the Bark Side

Just got back from playing the most amazing gig at the most amazing venue.. the Moritzbastei! We were brilliant if I do say so myself. It took us a long ol' time to get there; we stayed in Cologne for a night on the way, then went back for two more nights and travelled back today. Awesome banter, lots of sunshine, fantastic cities... Amazing. I came back to an oven house! It's so hot upstairs! And I left my compost bag in the kitchen... ew.

I seem to have forgotten how to write proper. Haha.

I'm busy as heck. Loads of work, but no money. I was panicking for the last month or so because I couldn't get any money together for the rent! I am looking at my diary now and it's giving me a sadface. I want to go on tooour for a looong time. Stupid day job. Damnit.

End-of-course assessment - and the course itself - now completed. Woohoo! I have that feeling of accomplishment all over. I hope I get an 85 for this one, pleasepleaseplease. I'll be happy with at least an 80, anyway. Hell, as long as it's above 70 I won't complain. Well, I probably will complain...

My business is going amazingly well too; lots of lovely profit and no unexpected expenses coming up. I paid off that lady whose car I bashed in on my birthday (I bought her some Roses too to say sorry for causing her all this bother) and I have a bit of extra ££ put aside in case this b0rked tooth of mine needs a stupid crown. The final mix of the album is coming along nicely (sort of!) Now it's getting all cold outside and I will inevitably need to escape the emo, I hope to enjoy some massive sessions of chill in my newly-draught-proofed room, do lots of reading of shiny books and attend three concerts de heavy rock. I suppose I had better start shopping and making things for Christmas too.

Life ist good. Oh ja, ich muss mein Deutsch verbessern! Going to Berlin again in November.

Today was AWESOME. I stayed at the Gate last night with the other half of BBD and this morning we got all dressed up and climbed around on a disused car garage for a stylish band photo shoot. So glamorous. The pictures look incredible! Photolady Ozzie said I was photogenic. Get in. This afternoon I had to go from being a glamorous model to cleaning people's bogs. NICE. But - I'm going to Berlin tomorrow with EIGHT BOYS. Ich habe mein Deutsch vergessen!
