I love that song live. The OHHHHHHH NOOOOO sounds so melodramatic and amazing. I think there's a DVD (called 'Dee Vee Dee', iirc) of them playing the whole album, which I NEEED.

lololol. I love the extreme repetition. There is just NOTHING like it. It's the most radical musical re-invention I've heard since Scott Walker's 'Tilt'.
It's INCREDIBLE. I was just telling K that I decided it would be a good idea to drive while listening to it for the first time... I had to stop and listen before I crashed! I was just shouting things. I bet people wondered what the hell was going on
Haha, I thought I was going to melt when I heard The Rhythm Thief for the first time (LIVE!). It's the most brilliant song ever. It must be strange driving music ("strange" = impossible).
Ugly Guys is just phenomenal. It's weird having to speak along because he doesn't really sing on it. The album is so so weird.
Ach, Wunderbar! I also love the Legend of Lil' Beethoven. What a hilarious idea. I didn't actually hear those two songs until about two years after hearing the album for the first time, so it was great to have those little epilogues to listen to after having familiarised myself with it so long ago! Du-du-du-du-du-du DU-DU-DU-DU-DU-DU du-du-du-du-du-du DU-DU-DU-DU-DU-DU WUNDERBAR
I have the live arrangement of Strange Animal from a BBC session to upload. I'll put it in the thread when the damn FLAC file finishes converting to MP3. It's slightly different, and it's just awesome. Even better than the album version.
foobar2000 does it. I like to use FLAC because there's so much free space on my external hard drive, so I can have everything in lossless format (I'm a bit fussy about these things!) without worrying about running out of space. I just need to convert for mp3 players and uploads.
