I had raw tuna on my plate of sushi in a restaurant in Bermuda, and I actually had to spit it out. There are a few flavours in the world that I'm not keen on, but I can usually control myself enough to finish the mouthful politely, and not make a scene. This tuna shit though - no such luck. Bleurgh, get out of my mouth please. Oh and once my mum gave me a mouthful of brawn to try while she was cooking dinner, and I didn't like that. Such a strong, weird flavour that I still can't describe. Well, sort of like corned beef, but twice as... corned. Ew. I munched it up, told her thanks but no thanks, and then she decided to tell me (with great pleasure) that it was a pig's brain. Cheers, Mum. It didn't make me sick 'cause I knew it was still just meat, but it kind of blew my mind a bit. Brains in my mouth. Legs, muscles, organs... all things that were once working, all moving, inside of another creature. I never did get over that weird feeling about eating other animals. Oh, and fennel is quite odd.
