Date: 2009-01-07 01:12 am (UTC)I love reading the threads about Bowie on the board. I was expecting some kind of anti-Bowie-actor flame, but this was the first post:
"David Bowie should have gotten an Oscar nomination for this film. Who knew he could actually act?"
OMG LOL. Bowie > Day-Lewis > De Niro

Date: 2009-01-07 01:33 am (UTC)stealthe ones that have always been dead 'ard to find. Haha yeah Basquiat's got an all-star cast! Bowie did quite a good job at playing Warhol it has to be said. He played it so humorously even though his accent did fail a bit. OMG I forgot the Linguini Incident. *giggle* That shit's hilariously awful. The Hunger series is a bit rubbish though. It's only good when Bowie's in it, trufax. His episode is on the 'Tube! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=J2fBjtBfGBw&feature=related (they chopped out all the gory bits though, fail). So yeah, as much stick as he gets for his acting, the later Bowie film projects are definitely teh brilliant. I'd hire him. He is SUCH. A. MOTHERFUCKING. BADASS.no subject
