Snow is a nightmare. I hate it. Yes it's pretty and all but I nearly wrote off my car twice yesterday when I ventured out to walk Henry. 20mph deathslide, boom, straight into the pavement. Then the car slid around so it was facing the incoming traffic, on a blind bend. Brilliant. I ran back home in fear and continued to hibernate. I haven't been out since Tuesday other than that. GOING. INSANE. Losing loads of money too. Bored of it now, want some summer please!

I'd like to say I've been totally productive and used my time stuck indoors to do laundry, do spreadsheets for the business, print out some adverts, do a bit of cleaning... but that'd be lying. I took pictures of myself in silly clothes and read fanfiction. FTW.

I'm bloody freezing. Lol with me at the relevance of the song I'm listening to.

Aye, people going on about snow days off work don't realise how shit it is for self employed people who can't get out and earn money!

My driving instructor for one, she's been snowbound for the past week and was telling me it was bad enough for the few days before xmas. Its just not worth risking it out there. Black ice all over the shop.

Argh yeah, it's totally gash. Dog owners keep texting me saying, "If you can't make it, don't worry!" I'm all, "Well, I do worry! I needs DOSH!" Haha. I guess losing a bit of income is better than getting loads and spending it all on a new car after the ice writes it off, oh rofl.

The whole thing is very tiresome. Supermarkets are mental asylums, flights are cancelled, schools are shut; I am meant to be doing an AS exam on Monday morning & cannot even contact the school! I feel angry that I am on holiday at the moment as I cannot do anything at all & I feel for those, like you, whose livelihood is knocked upside down by all of this. It's ridiculous.

This is one benefit of staying inside I guess - no need to face the scary, panic buying public haha. Anna went shopping tonight and said the place was empty - people buying 16 loaves of bread and crap. Weirdos. Sorry that it's screwed up your holiday - was this meant to be your honeymoon? :(

Warmer weather is just around the corner if it knows what's good for it!

God yes, driving in this stuff is an absolute nightmare. The roundabouts in my area are like ice rinks at the moment. I spent another couple of hours again today trying to clear more of the stuff away from the drive so that it's easier to get cars in and out.

There's massive icicles hanging down from all the guttering too.

Argh, scary. I hope it doesn't come back this week like they're saying.
