Paul Weller is the fucking DON. I finally saw him last night, and of course STEVE CRADDOCK OMG (that's his official full name) after loving them both for what... 13 years and omg I cried I won't say how many times (more than twice) and it was absolutely brilliant, lots of classics, lots of Jam songs, lots of lovely long acoustic numbers and he finished with a FANTASTIC version of Whirlpool's End with footage up of war stuff and 9-11 and a message of peace and it just IMMENSE. Then we rocked out to Town Called Malice and headed off to the car where I returned a call and found out that I have a brand new niece. WHAT A NIGHT.
